Hello simple happy life family and friends!
Life has been a little crazy lately and I can't wait to tell you why.
There have been many exciting things going on in the Conklin household this year and Patrick and I would like to share with you that we have a new addition to our family! In September we welcomed our beautiful sweet baby girl!

This adventure has been so humbling and she has been such a blessing. We kicked off the start of 2018 finding out we were expecting (January 2nd) and on Valentine's day we got to hear her heartbeat for the first time. If that isn’t the most amazing way to spend Valentines day I don’t know what is.
The first trimester was rather difficult but the 2nd and 3rd (and 4th) have just been a joy. We have been praying for this little bundle of joy. With all this change coming into our lives its easy to say that I have been doing everything in my power to simplify my life as much as possible everything from more things to commitments so I can focus on being the best mom I can be.
I am so grateful to my sweet husband Patrick for taking such good care of his girls during this time of growth and learning. I am so excited to see him be the most amazing father! Baby girl we can't wait to watch you grow and have loved you before we even met you. Thank you for choosing us to be your mom and dad.
With that said life has been a little hectic but is starting to settle back down. I can’t wait to start blogging again this year about how we simplify our lives now as our sweet new addition makes this life decision even more important and a little more complicated with another person's belongings to take into account. It's time to set up routines and expectations now while she is still young. I can't wait to update you on our journey.
